The clear choice.

Today’s Link

Greetings to all of you.  A sobering moment in the world of LGBTQ politics is now upon us.  Today, the Democratic party released their manifesto/platform/brochure/etc.  It explicitly calls for marriage equality.  This is the complete opposite to the Republican party platform that calls for a constitutional amendment against marriage equality.

What does this mean?  Well, to spell it out, it means that one party, the Democrats, want LGBTQ people to get married, have survivor rates for inheritance, have adoption rights, have tax filing rights, to possibly pay lower taxes (to have the choice), and a whole host of other things.  It means the Republican party want you to not be able to get married, to not have adoption rights, to not have tax filing rights, to possibly pay higher taxes as couples (to not have the choice), and a whole host of other things.

The difference is now clear.  The Republican party do not like you if you are gay.  The Democratic party do.  QED.

Big love,

DMx
