Greetings and a happy monday to you all. Yesterday I mentioned how unfair it seems to be that people who are typically straight, and sometimes of colour, get to say that being gay is a choice. I talked about how that seems to be acceptable. Today we find a white congressmen who says the same thing.
He also ties this nicely up together by saying that it is okay for someone to be fired for being gay becuase of the fact that it is a choice. How long will it be before people come to the conclusion that this doesn’t seem to be a choice for most gay people out there? I have yet to find a single heterosexual person who will admit to making a conscious decision to be straight. That arguement seems to only work one way though….
